for professional animation work, does anyone know what 3D video render
card is needed for a Mac G4.  I hear something about getting a AGP card?
I also hear that a 3D * card is Not the same as a 3D animation card
for rendering. Is that so?

I use my G4 as is, as it came out of the box with no problems.  Works
for  me.

1. Mac hardware question

I recently picked up a Performa 6115CD to use for graphics. I saw an ad in a
flyer about cards that plug into the motherboard. It claims it can turn a 60MHz
Performa into a 210MHz machine rivalling a G3. And for $500! Either a Sonnet
Crescendo, or a Newer Technology.

Anybody have any experience with such a thing? Do they work as advertised? Any
problems?
