I'm programming in OpenGL under Windows and am getting compiler errors when
I try to use vertex arrays. It seems to be because I'm using OpenGL 1.1
rather than 1.2, but I can't find OpenGL 1.2 for Windows. Does this exist
yet? (I'm a newbie, so I'm just learning these things!) Does anyone have
any suggestions, either how to get vertex arrays working, or another
efficient method under 1.1?
Also, this might be naive but is there an OpenGL function which can take a
list of vertices and group them into polygons? So far I've been including
polygon info explicitly in the datafile, but am wondering if there's an
easier way to do it?!
(all I want to do is draw things as GL_POLYGONS rather than LINES, etc.)
