What's the difference ......? >>
I've downloaded the tutorials and example programs and I can't run them
because.....
.......... I DON'T HAVE "OPENGL.DLL"
WHAT HELL "OPENGL32.DLL" IS FOR IN WIN98/NT ?!?!??!?

opengl32.dll is the microsoft implementation of the gl library
download the sgi implmentation, opengl.dll, from opengl.org and put it in
where your opengl32.dll is.

And which implmentation is better (quality,speed) ?

    well, SOFTWARE rendering: the microsoft version is dogslow, but the
    SGI isn't much better. For hardware rendering: both are then just wrappers
    around the hardware drivers ofcourse. I'd choose the MS though, because it
    has for what I know, extensions for windows

1. GLUT/NT 4.0: opengl32.dll vs. opengl.dll

Hi!

What are the differences between opengl32.dll and opengl.dll (NT 4.0,
Service Pack 4)?
OpenGL Version 1.1/1.2?

I downloaded some GLUT 3 samples from SGI and connot get them
to work.
First running the sampels required opengl.dll in the path.
So I copied opengl32.dll (shipped with NT 4.0) to opengl.dll.
Next the entry point for 'SetPixelFormat' counldn't be found.
So I guess there's required a different opengl.dll.
But which? And where can I get it?
