I'm not that experience in SBS but I am in the process of installing
(upgrading) a client from SBS 4.5 to SBS2000 on a new server.
I am installing SBS2000 from scratch on the new server and bringing over the
data (including the e-mail boxes/data) from the old server to the new. (I'm
not installing sbs4.5 then installing sbs2000...when you start the install
for sbs2000, at some point it will ask you to insert the CD for 4.5 as proof
if you bought your sbs2000 as an upgrade)
There is a good MS knowledgebase paper on this migration process. It's in
two parts. (don't have the Q# at the moment, just do a search on
installing/migrating SBS2000)
Good Luck.
