solid modeling boundary representation class structure

Post by Kanaka priya Kalyanasundar » Wed, 20 Mar 1996 04:00:00

I am developing a solid modeler with boundary representation ie one in
which I define solids, faces ,loops, vertices, half edges and edges in
C++. I am new to C++. Any help in designing the basic class structure will
be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance

1. Solid Model Data Structure

I'm sorry for wasting bandwidth on this, but I'm getting desprite.

I have managed to loose my only copy of an article I need as
reference material for a graduate project.  The article discussed
methods of solid modeling object data structures.  It introduced
an Edge-Half structure and compared it to the Winged-Edge structure.
The article was written by Kevin Weiler, and titled "Edge Based
Solid Modeling ..."  something like that.  I think it was in IEEE
Computer Graphics, if this rings a bell, and you could send me the
issue info I would be eternally grateful.  If Mr. Weiler happens to
read this I would be very interested in hearing from you.

           Thanks in advance.
