Dear friends,
 i am a student venturing into the field of 3d graphics for the first
time. i had been studying the java3d in general and idx3d in specific.
but i was really confused by the concept of rendering and
rasterization of triangle in idx3d. if you have any valuable
suggestions for me or can suggest me some study material then please
respond soon.

Have you tried a Java3D or idx3d newsgroup?  OpenGL is a low-level
graphics API that has nothing to do with Java3D or idx3d.
