Motion Blur and Video Output card (Qmotion)

Motion Blur and Video Output card (Qmotion)

Post by Ed Doyl » Mon, 26 Aug 1996 04:00:00

When I try to output a video on my Qmotion card, and the files
were rendered with motion blur, I get a distorted B/W type output,
almost like a bad deinterlace job.
Has anyone else using one of the MJPEG output cards had this problem?
If so did you find a cause or correction?

 Thanx

1. Motion blur (was Re: Recommendation for animator for POV frame output)

Does anyone have any suggestions for doing motion blur in POV?

I compared POV and BMRT.  BMRT is more powerful, but POV does a lot more
-- especially texture-wise -- right out of the box.

Also, it would be nice if POV implemented a shader language like BMRT.
Then you wouldn't have to keep adding to the code when a new type of
procedural texture has been created.
