I lateLY WOTE TO SOMEONE FOR MAKING AINMS, BUT I LOST HIS ADDRESS BECAUSE OF A
SHORTCUT AT HOME.
I NEED YOUR ADDRESS AGAIN.
We have a demo that we may like to let SGI use as part of their demos.
It demonstrates multiplane hardware texture mapping on modeled trees in
comparison to underlying geometry. Over 200 people have gotten a copy,
so I believe there is significant interest.
This is the Botanical Tree Demo that I posted earlier.
The demo is available via anonymous ftp at belvoir-arl-irisgt.army.mil
It is currently compiled to about 700K under 4.0.5, but we have 5.1.1
where it compiles to about 300K. The size of the data files are negligible.
It runs real time on the RE2, but I've heard from a guy who
ran it on a 20G, although very slowly. There is a quality factor that
can be lowered to make it run faster.
Can anybody give me the email address of someone at SGI to contact,
like in marketing?
