character studio help request

Post by ALI TEZE » Fri, 11 Aug 2000 04:00:00

Hi everyone , i am going to ask a simple question , i wanted to try biped
yesterday . i opened the tutorials that came with character studio , it says
select biped01 , than go to figure mode and scale , move the biped to match
your model , good so far .

But when i try to move the damn biped it doesnt move , i can move its arms
and legs but i cant move the biped to position it inside my mesh (i guess
thats what i should do right?). according to the tutorial when i select
biped01 from the name selection list the biped should move without trouble ,
but its not moving at all. can anyone tell me what i am doing wrong?.

thanks very much in advance
Ali

You have to click on the icon named "Figure Mode" before you can shift it
around.

you may have a key set at that frame, you may need to add key frames or you
have a bad crack

floor plane??)

i tried that too , i can move the body parts , but i cant move the body as a
whole on x or y axis to position it inside my mesh. According to the
tutorial , after selecting biped01 which is the center of mass (located in
the middle of the bipeds butt) , and selecting figure mode i should be able
to move it with the move tool but it didnt work. i tried it like 200 times ,
and its still not working.
thanks for trying to help guys
