there is a device driver in the 3d studio directory called pharlap.386,
or something similar, add this to the [386enh] section of your system.ini
stating the full path, i.e.

[386Enh]
device=c:\3ds\pharlap.386
etc

it seems to work fine on my system

> ***********************************************************************You can't multitask 3DS in 95.  It has to have dedicated support.  You

won't be able to switch back and forth between Photoshop and 3DS, if
that is what you are looking for.  I also suggest that you modify the
systems properties to disable the screen saver, idle to minimum, and
suspend background.  This ought to get things going.  There ain't
nothing like working for an hour and take a 10 minute break and comming
back to find that the screen saver crashed the 3DS program.

Hope this helps,
Steve

1. Release 2 won't run under Win 95

You can do it, but you need to create basically a "PIF".  Make a shortcut
and edit the properties to run in a dos session and don't load emm386.
Himem is required.
