hello,
i've a problem, i'm trying to spline-modelling, but I can't weld
endpoints... what must I do?
If I try to weld some vertex, it says "No vertex whitin weld threeshold"...
what's the problem?

thanks

You need to set the weld threshold to a higher value.  Default is set to
.01.  If the vertices are close, then setting it to .5 should do the trick.

it didn't work :(
it's always saying "No vertexs..."
what should I do?

Make sure both vertices are selected before you hit 'Weld'

Also, as Mike says, increase the threshold, and perhaps zoom in and move the
vertices as close as you can.

And make sure you are selecting the correct vertices (try selecting them
with the "Ignore Backfacing" turned on.)

select both vertices (click one, ctrl click the other.)  Click the
Uniform scale key and uniform scale them closer, then weld.  that way
you will not make your weld threshold too large.

1. Welding look - weld.JPG (0/1)

I am creating a scooter for a Max scene, and I do not know how to make
a shape that looks like two pieces of metal welded together, does
anybody know how I would go about doing this?  I attached a picture of
an example.  Thanks for the help.
