basically you can't! Because glow is a video post plug-in it doesn't
respect objects which are transparent and obscuring the glowing object...
There has been a thread about this on the Kinetix forum on compuserve -
and they came up with two solutions - either :-
Render the 2 elements separately and composite (but then you get the
glowing element appearing behind not inside...
or
Glow the whole lot - apparently if you can tweak the glass material so it
hardly glows at all...
I don't know if the same problem afflicts the commercial glow/lensflare
routines like Real Lens Flare or Lenzfx (if it ever ships) and there is a
third commercial flare/glow program (Genesis) which will be around $270 -
I have spoken to the programmer and it looks like this might be able to
do the job...
