Povray 3.0 commandline only 'povray' on Linux

Post by Terry L. Ridde » Sat, 21 Dec 1996 04:00:00

Hello;

I have compiled the Povray-3.0 commandline only program 'povray'.

The program fails when parsing the colors.inc file on the very first
'#ifdef'.

The same source code used to build the program 'x-povray'
has no probelm with parsing '#ifdef'.

Has anyone seen this problem before?

into this problem.

Thank You In Advance.

If you could relate in which way the program fails, it would be a
great help.  Have you tried the pre-compiled version for Linux
to see if it also has this problem?

This would be highly unusual, since the x-povray code uses exactly the
same parsing and rendering code as basic povray.  The only difference
is that there are some macros defined that open the rendering window
and output the pixels.
