How to measure graphics performance?

Help!

Is there any benchmarks such as MIPS, MFLOPS for CPU to measure graphics
performance?  I need to quantify Indigo2 XL R4400/200Mhz's graphics
performace against Sun Sparc 2 (old model).

Yes, look at the SPEC benchmark site and look for the GPC
benchmarks.

There are many places on the net that have data on performance
measurements for different machines.  I suggest that you do a WWW
search for things like MIPS, MFLOPS et al.   Thats what I did.

If you don't find it, give me a e-ring.

1. Measuring OpenGL performance on Win95

I would like to know what it would take to measure the (real) time, in
milliseconds, that it takes to render a given OpenGL image.  I'm running
Win95 on a Pentium 166 with a Diamond Stealth GT driver and 2 MB of
display memory.  I also have an HSDAS-16 ADC card with a timer and a
DriverLINX ADC driver that can send a message every ms.

This is my first experience with Win95/VC++ programming and I'm not even
sure if my goals (to be able to process an ADC signal every ms) are
realistic on this platform.  Any advice or references would be
appreciated.
