Sony Mavica - the world's first floppy disk digital camera.
It comes with a re-chargeable battery and battery charger,
so it basically costs almost zero to operate. If you have
moved your back-up onto zip disks, then you probably have
a bunch of idle floppy disks lying around your house or
office anyway. The Mavica has a 10X Zoom capability. Also
special effects like sepia, monochrome, pastel etc. Take
all the shots you want to (up to 40 shots on one floppy
disk in JPEG format) and then put the floppy disk directly
into your computer (works on both Windows & Mac) and up
come the photo images instantly. Save the images and use
the floppy disk over and over again. Or give the disk with
images to friends or family. CD of image software is included.
