How do I get type around a circle path or other shape, add stroke and fill to
the letters, WITHOUT stroking and filling the shape? I used the path type tool
for doing this. Thanks.

Have you tried stroking and filling the type before attaching it to the
path? I haven't tried it myself but I will after I quit Netscape.
1. HELP: Illustrator 4.1 Crashing
After working with Adobe Illustrator 4.1 (Windows 3.1) for an hour or so last
week, I closed it down. Later on I tried to launch it again, but it would not
open.
I keep getting the dreaded Windows 3.x message "Illustrator - an error has
occurred in your application ..... Close or Ignore". After choosing either of
these, it proceeds to the usual "General Protection Fault in module AI4.exe"
message.
I've tried everything, including deleting it completely from the hard drive
and re-installing. Nothing works.
This is the first time this has happened in the year that I've been working
with this program, and now I can't open the application at all.
Any ideas??
