Graphics Searcher for graphics on PC's?

Post by V » Tue, 18 Jan 2000 04:00:00

I have Agfa font manager which scans my computer when I open up the program
and lists all new and old fonts that I have on my pc.

I  would like to know if there is a software program that automatically
searches my C: drive and makes all my graphics available for use.

In other words, I have Print Master/Print Artist/childrens programs/and
more... that all have graphics included in different files.  I would like to
have a program that would automatically find any
...tff,pcx,jpeg,eps.....files and make them availabe in one program for my
use.  Thanks for any info.   Vera

There is probably something specifically for this, though have never
had to look.

In the meantime may wish to try CompuPic, which is a thumbnailer and
some other things. If haven't used the genre, it does an intial scan
of your harddive, then there is an explorer like tree of all your
folders, and they are colour coded on whether or not there is a
graphic in it, or in a subfolder. Then shows page of thumbs of the
graphics ready for your selection.

All the best,
Robert

1. Graphic example - 'smart' connected graphic objects

Hallo,
I am looking for a simple VB example where I can link two rectangles
with a "smart" connection line. This should be such that when I move any
of rectangles the connectin line should stick on both rectangle objects.

(something similar to connecting 2 objectsin Power Point).

Thanks, Regards,
Nic
