Metric Units in Visio Pro 4.5

Hi,

I have a problem with displaying metric units in Visio Professional 4.5
on WinNT3.51. When I drag the Dimension line shape (Office Layout
Stencil) I always get units in feet and inches regardless of the fact
that all my global settings are in metric. Could anyone advise me on
this?

1. Visio and line weights - what are the units ?

In visio the allowable settings for line thickness are 1,3,5,9,13 and 17.
I cannot figure out what these numbers actually represent.

"17" is about 0.057 inches (4.097 point, 1.447mm) which makes "1" equivalent
to 0.0033 inches (0.241 point, 0.085mm).

When using other drawing programs I usually use lines with a thickness of 1 or
0.5 point. The closest I can get in visio is "5" (1.205 point) and "3" (0.723
point).

Is there a way to specify the line thickness using inches, points or mm ?
