Well, I tried the opengl group and got no reply so I thought I'd try here.

I want to convert the z values from the opengl pick function to the actual
z values.  Awhile ago there was an article in Iris Universe that gave the
equation on how to do this.   If sombody has this issue could you send me
the equation?  Will this work with the opengl z values?
