The full programme, including abstracts, for the 2001 UK
AVS+Uniras User Group (UAUUG) conference at Birmingham
from 5 to 6 November is now available on the Conference
website at http://www.uauug.org.uk/conference/index.html

The Keynote Talk will be given by Terry Hewitt, director of the
Manchester Visualization Centre who will be discussing some of
the perils and pitfalls, as well as the benfits, of data
visualisation. Speakers from AVS will be giving a range of talks
focusing on current enhancements to the AVS products and an
indication of future directions and capabilities. Other
presentations will be from the International AVS Centre and
end-users of the products discussing some of the wide range of
areas in which visualisation plays a key role. Demonstrations
of hardware and software will also take place throughout the
conference in an adjoining room

Apologies for cross-postings.

Following the successful and enjoyable UK AVS+Uniras User Group
(UAUUG) conference at Birmingham last year we hope that you will
be interested in joining us at this year's conference,
to be held at the University of Birmingham Conference Park on
5 and 6 November.

The Keynote Talk will be given by Terry Hewitt, director of the
Manchester Visualization Centre who will be discussing some of

The UAUUG web site at http://www.uauug.org.uk/ has details of this
and previous conferences, including the talks given at previous
conferences. The cost has been held at 200 including all sessions,
refreshments, the conference dinner and accommodation in a single
en-suite room.
