GNU C++ and Inventor

Hi,

Does anyone (from SGI) know if there ever be a GNU compatible
library for Open Inventor.

The current FAQ still says its not available.

Considering that gnu is so widespread and that other vendors
do provide the option (Template Graphics for the Sun Solaris),
I can see no reason for SGI not to privide the GNU library.

We are planning to use Open Inventor in the future and I don't
really look foreward to using the 'c' binding.

Thanks.

How about loss of revenue? That's -a- reason, even if not a particularily
good one.
