OpenGL Optimizer/Cosmo3D Problem: csSprite

OpenGL Optimizer/Cosmo3D Problem: csSprite

Post by Matthias Koeni » Thu, 02 Apr 1998 04:00:00

Hello,

I am using OpenGL Optimizer and Cosmo3D and have a problem with
the csSprite class. The csSprite is comparable with the pfBillBoard node

in Iris Performer. Unfortunately there is no man page and no example
program explaining csSprite. There is only information in the Insight
book. The Insight book describes that the csSprite is derived from
csGeoSet, but the include file shows that it is derived from the
csGeometry.
I use a csShape object with a csSprite and a csAppearence which
defines a texture for the csShape. The object is not displayed in
the viewer although the scene graph shows that it should be there.
Perhaps someone know the solution for this problem and can
help me.

Thanks,

Matthias
