You can use the Tcl C-API (application programming interface).
I.e. there is a C header file to be included named tcl.h and
a C library named libtcl.so (or libtcl.dll on Windows platforms)
to be linked to your application.

The library provides a C function named Tcl_Eval() to which
you can pass a string argument. The string argument is then
processed, as if you'd typed it at the prompt in tclsh.

For further details, see the Tcl/Tk Books of Ousterhout or Welch.

Ciao,
   Joerg
