As part of MIT's annual Independent Activities Period, the MIT Computer
Graphics Society taught a course on Open Inventor, SGI's object-oriented 3D
graphics toolkit, this January. All of the lecture notes, problem sets and
solutions, and final projects are now available on the web.
This course covers most of the material in the Inventor Mentor, and
provides a strong basis for further exploration with the Inventor
toolkit. Best of all, this course is absolutely free!
