Responsibilities:
Design hardware for high-speed, digital image processing applications in
this senior-level position at our Isys subsidiary, located in Alameda,
CA. Isys designs and develops automated inspection systems for
producers of materials-such as paper and metal foils-which are
manufactured in "webs," or continuous sheets. These systems are used to
detect and classify even the smallest visible defects across the entire
material surface at production speeds of up to 60mph. Engineering
project management skills are crucial to this role, as you oversee the
lifespan of products from inception onward. You will also provide
supervision of other EEs and technicians.
Qualifications:
BS or MS in EE and 10-15 years of experience in system design, PCB
design, and component specifications are required. Experience with
Xilinx design and simulation is preferred, as is a familiarity with
OrCAD or ActiveCAD. An understanding of CCD-based imaging systems is a
plus.
