Enough Math Libs!

Enough Math Libs!

Post by Andrew Sing » Sun, 02 Sep 1990 14:25:00

Thanks to all of you who have requested the fixed math library for LightspeedC.
As of the date and time of this message, I will not be accepting any more
requests for math libraries; I can only handle so many testers.

Once the math library is stable, I'll upload it for all to use.

No one writes programs that work right the first time. If they did,
I'd be out of a job.

1. OK. Enough is enough.

This is SECOND WARNING.

I wrote about this earlier in these lists but seems that
it didn't help. We keep still getting these MAKEMONY.TXTs
(DOCs) although I perfectly made clear that
        WE DON't WANT THEM.
Remember we might as well close this site off.

If someone don't know what these arer here is how they begin:

Dear Friend,

My name is Dave Rhodes.  In September 1988 my car was
reposessed and the bill collectors were hounding me like you
wouldn't believe. I was laid off and my unemployment checks had
run out.  The only escape I had from the pressure of failure was
my Apple computer and my modem. I longed to turn my advocation
into my vocation.

                          Sincerely yours,

                       INSTRUCTIONS

Follow these instructions EXACTLY, and in 20 to 60 days you will
have received well over $50,000.00 cash, all yours. This program

Welcome to the world of Mail Order!  This little business is a
little different than most mail order houses.  Your product is
not solid and tangible, but rather a service.  You are in the
business of developing Mailing lists.  Many large corporations
are happy to pay big bucks for quality lists.

(The money made from the mailing lists are secondary to the
income which is made from people like yourself requesting
that they be included in that list.)

  1)  Immediately mail $1.00 to the first 5 names listed below
starting at number 1 through number 5.  Send cash only
please (total investment $5.00). Enclose a note with each
letter stating: "Please add my name to your mailing list."
Enclose the filled out questionare. Be sure to fill out as
much of the questionaire as you feel comfortable doing.
