Will a Quicksilver CPU Card Work in a GB Ethernet Mac?

Post by Craig Kolle » Mon, 07 Jul 2003 00:41:06

I've got all the components for a homebuilt "FrankenMac" based on the
GB Enet Mobo, except the CPU. At work, we're upgrading an old 450MHz
Sawtooth with a zippy new processor, so I figured I'd use that. But an
eBay auction lists an 800MHz Processor Card for a Quicksilver machine
(w/ heatsink). Any idea if this might work?

TIA
