I think you'd be much better off with a single 10Mb card than 2 5Mb
cards unless you don't intend to keep the cards both with the machine at
the same time (backups maybe). Avoiding having to swap cards or
partition data between the two cards is a major feature in my mind.
Also, the cost per Mb is generally lower on the larger cards, so you
should come out ahead financially that way too. I believe I've seen
some 10Mb flash with stacker compression (often advertised as up to 20Mb)
as low as $500-$550 range new (I don't remember the exact price,
though).
