here's an odd one for you to chew over - or maybe everybody
but me knows about it...
the story: I'm setting up an A5K for my pa-in-law to get
onto Freeserve. As a trial run I set up an account for
myself using a PC at work. No probs. Then at home, I
set up the A5k with the Ant INS. After getting over the
usual spelling mistakes, it has all worked fine. Wheeeee!
Next day, set up an account for your man, using the user/login
names that he wanted. Back home, and news is fine, web is fine,
but aaaaagghhh, no email.
Checked the config, only to discover that there seems to be a
32 char limit (in terminator) in the mail setup. You guessed it,
I've got to try and enter a 32 char name, and it keeps truncating the
last char. Tried editing the config files in Zap, all to no
avail. A quick look at some of the templates in INS shows
a 32 char limit, but changing this doesn't help.
Would be grateful for any suggestions, ta!
