Arcade BBS has been running continuously for nearly seven years, serving
the interests of all Acorn users and providing a friendly forum for
discussion on all aspects of the Acorn World. In that time, Arcade BBS
has received over 64 thousand calls and has nurtured many Acorn users'
interests in Comms.

We have built up a reputation for help and advice to each and every caller
given freely by ourselves and by our thousands of users, and are proud to
be known as one of the 'places to call' for Acorn online users.

Our name Arcade BBS has been in use since we started in June 1990. Please
do not confuse us with any other more recently named organisation.

Our extensive filebase contains the cream of the Freeware and Shareware
downloads of all types, and is growing all the time. Free Internet e-mail
and usenet news have been a feature available to Arcade BBS users for many
years.

You can call Arcade BBS by phone at almost any time of the day, seven days
a week, and access the same features that dial-in callers enjoy by
telnetting from the Internet at weekends from 14:00-20:00 on Saturdays and
Sundays. Our local Web and FTP servers also allow easy access to the whole
filebase using just your Web browser during the Weekend Internet sessions.

1. Anyone want 1990-93 Acorn magazines?

Hi,

I'm about to consign to the bin copies of the Micro User/Acorn Computing
from 1990 to 1993..... but on the off-chance that they may of use/interest
to someone else I just thought I'd post a quick note here (apologies if it's
the wrong newsgroup!!).  If anyone does want 'em, e-mail me immediately.
BTW I'm in Derby, if you want to collect 'em.

David
