Can you trace the teacher who believes that there are only 30 basic ideas?

In the early 90s I met a teacher ( maybe a head-teacher ) in North
London who was into Acorn computers and had worked in Africa. He held
that there were only about 30 ideas that needed to be taught. I wasn't
interested at the time, but I would now like to to know more. Can
anybody trace this man for me?"

If he still uses RISC OS computers, there's a chance that he (or
someone that knows him) will turn up at the London RISC OS user group.

I'll ask at the third meeting - this hopefully should be the one
that doesn't have a set maximum number of attendees!  If there's
any response, I'll post here.

Dunno the man, but if you do find him, please post these ideas! I'd be
interested to add them to the others I've collected... ;-)

Cheers, Guy

1. Tracing teacher who believes that there are only 30 ideas in education.

        Sometime in the early 90s I met a school-master ( maybe even a head-
teacher ) in London who was into Arorn computers and had been in
Africa and had thought up a theory that there were really only 30 or
so ideas that needed to taught in schools and they could be taught
using computers.

I had other things on my mind at the time, but the question
has since grown in my mind "What are those 30 ideas?" What slant to
they take, for example are they physical principles, like conservation
of energy, or are they on a different slant, for example, ideas of
sameness/difference or enoughness/not enough.

If you know anything about this man, or can give me any
hints on how to trace him, I would be most grateful.

Michael
