                  NOVEMBER 18 - 19, 1993

                      HOUSTON, TEXAS

This highly-acclaimed two-day course will teach you how to assess the adequacy
of your operational network security and how to increase security in a variety
of networking environments.  After learning about current threats to network
security in different operational environments (e.g., Internet, closed networks,
and local area networks), you will learn about solutions such as firewalls,
secure routers, and properly designing and managing network services and
configurations.  Exercises develop practical skills and knowledge about
designing firewalls and secure routers as well as implementing encryption and
other security solutions.

"There isn't another network security course like this one.  You learn things
you can't find in books."

"I've taken other network security workshops, but didn't learn nearly as much as
I did in this one.  This workshop is very valuable--very practical."
