REMOTE CONTROL previlige?

Here's how...
Start - Programs - Admin Tools - Terminal Services Configuration
Double Click on RDP-Tcp in the right pane
Select Permissions tab
Select Add - follow the steps to add the particular user or user group you
want to be able to remote control
(of course, skip this step if they are already uniquely present)
Select the user or group in the name list
Click Advanced
You will see a check box for Remote Control rights there - check that

It's just a shortcut to "tsadmin.exe" which is in your System32 folder in the WINNT folder....

go to Start | Run | "tsadmin.exe"
and you should be fine.

1. Remote control or remote node

I would like to know what the general opinion of the IT field as to what the
best remote control software is.

I need to install some software to control laptops though a VPN when they
are out of the office.

I need free software and I have looked at pcAnywhere and NetMeeting although
I don't know the expense.
I understand VNC is free, but I have heard very little about it.
Any help is appreciated,
~Jack
