There are two ways of resolving this issue. The first wayQuote:> Somehow i hit the handicap screen in windows for hard to

1. IE 5.0/Explorer handicapping your ability to manage files independently
I came about the most massively infuriating problem with Internet Explorer
5.0 and Windows Explorer in Win2K today. When I save a webpage, IE 5 saves
it as a .HTM file and creates a directory that contains all the graphics
files for that webpage. But this is where it gets screwy. If you delete
that .HTM file via Explorer, then Explorer goes right ahead and DELETES THE
DIRECTORY TOO!!!! And if you delete the directory instead, then Explorer
goes ahead and deletes the .HTM file as well.
If MS calls this a feature then they can all go to hell....everything about
this says BUG. And it means I'm totally handicapped with how I want to
manage these files...using the Command Prompt to manage files how I want is
NOT my idea of a fun time.
I'm sounding off here because maybe someone else noticed this and has gotten
tired of this crap...maybe we can all do something intimate and file bug
reports together.
