by I have a client with two identicle servers they have set
up with W2K server, terminal services and metaframe Xp on
each using service pack 2 for W2K. They are also using
dual comapq nic's set up as a load balanced team.
Several weeks ago they started having prroblems with the
licensing service. The licensing service will not start
and every time you try to start it manually you get an
error. On one of the servers removing the teaming on the
nic's and reinstalling it fixed the problem with the
licensing service.
Doing the same thing to the other one has no effect. All
settings seem to be the same on both computers. With the
exception that the one that doesn't work right has a newer
bios. They reinstalled Citrix and that fixed the problem
for several days then it came back. Compaq has been
unable to figure out the problem. I am also checking with
Citrix on the issue.
If any one has any ideas about this I'd really appreciate
the help.
