Have a Win 2k Pro machine with an unusual Explorer error.
Files do not appear in the right pane, nor
do directories; only a dot (current directory?)
When an application is used to open a file, it
can browse the folder structure.

1. Windows Explorer won't show right pane
I have a strange problem -- my system recently stopped displaying the right
pane in Explorer -- all I get is the directory tree. I've tried the Control +
Numeric Plus resize trick with no luck. The right pane is just gone. I've
checked all the appropriate settings, and know my way around Windows pretty
well.
I haven't installed anything recently or done anything else notable.
Anybody have any experience with this problem that they could share?
Thanks,
