can anyone explain to me how to fix this problem, or where is this
orignating from?  Whats NBT stand for?

Found an answer (q257760), but have A minor problem.  It requires me to run
Exctrlst.exe from the resource kit.  I seem to misplace the the resource
disk, anyone nice enought to email me it I would greatly apreciate it:

TO get the utility mentioned you need to go to ftp://ftp.microsoft.com  and
then look for ResKit and Windows 2000.  The utility mentioned is called
EXCTRLST.EXE and in in EXTCRLST.ZIP.

I am getting the same error. How do I disable it from the mentioned
EXCTRLST.EXE

there is a checkbox there to disable counter.. uncheck it for all three
tabs..

Hi Pac,
There is a checkbox for enabling performance counter with a tick mark in
there by default. Do you mean this counter?

yup..  but there are 3 tabs up top.. I just clicked on each tab and
unchecked the enable tick mark for each tab.

1. Please help with PerfLib and perfctrs error messages

Hello,

My server's Event Log is overflown by error messages recorded every 1-2
minutes.  I was unable to understand the source of these messages, could
somen help please?  These error messages are preventing the Event Log from
recording other "Useful" logs, so any help would be a life saver!
