I have a small domain with 1 domain controller and would
like to deploy terminal services on my network. Just
wanted to know if the terminal license server can run on
the same server.

1. Terminal Services License Server on same box as Terminal Services?
Can anyone explain why Microsoft recommends the installation of Terminal Services on a
member server or stand alone server and that the license server be installed on a
different machine? If they were on the same box, wouldn't that cut down on network
traffic? e.g., Terminal Server wouldn't have to poll the domain or broadcast to all the
servers in the workgroup every fifteen minutes...
