Look for posts in this newsgroup with "Password" in the
subject line. There are quite a few recent ones.

If you SET the Administrator's password, as well as "your" password, try putting the CAPS LOCK
to the "ON" position, then try your password(s) again.  Occasionally, when typing in the
password, people forget that CAPS LOCK is on, then when creating their Admin password, the
password is created in a CAPITALIZED FORMAT instead of what was "thought to be typed."

IF that doesn't fix your problem, you can learn how to use a program like L0phtcrack to "crack"
the password, or you can REBUILD your system.

Yeah. He is right. Something exactly like that happened to me when I had to
reinstall Win2k

1. login problems with win98 cilents

I am getting this message when tring to login in with
some win98 cilents  "domain password you supplied is not
correct or access to your logon server has been denied."
I know the password is correct.  I can try the logins 2
or 3 more times and can get them to login.  I just added
a 2nd win2k server so I think it has to do with which
server is doing to auth.

Any tips on troubleshooting this would be great.

Thanks,
Mike
