Task Scheduler assistance required

Post by John » Sat, 05 Apr 2003 14:10:00

Hi,

I am trying to use Task Scheduler to update a Crystal report for me each
morning. It runs OK but I have a problem with refresh. I don't want to
specify "automatic refresh" in the report and I haven't been able to find a
command line switch to tell Crystal to refresh when opened with Task
Scheduler.

I know that pressing the F5 key will refresh the report once it is open. Is
there anyway of using the Task Scheduler to send a keystroke to the
application?

Thanks,

John

The Task Scheduler can launch tasks, nothing more
and nothing less. If you can put it into a batch file
then the Task Scheduler can run it.

You should repost this item in a Crystal newsgroup
to find out what switches are available for a refresh.
