where might one find a description to change the S registers of F-class
Rockwell V.34 modem chips to reduce the output level?
My modem's output is almost 6 dB too high according my telecoms testfax
service, but the noise level is very good. (I am almost next door to the
telephone exchange)

        S91 for data, S92 for fax  

        S91? or S92? to see present setting
