If some one could help with the install I would appreciate it. If not,
anyone know how to contact Aspen on the internet?

1. Installing X2 modem with a combo (sound/fax/modem) card
I have a Telecomander 3300 sound/fax/modem card in a DEC Starion 960 (not a
Packard Bell). Its 28.8 modem on com2(IRQ3). The sound part of the card
includes the usual:MPU-401 Device I/O port address 0300-301, IRQ 09; FM/OPLS
Device I/O Port address 0220-022F ,0530-0537 ,0388-038B, 0F8E-00F8F, IRQ 05,
DMA 00, 01. I tried to install an IBM 56K Modem Internet Kit while keeping the
combo card. The combo card has jumpers, so I could change the com port and
IRQ, but elected to keep it at the default. The IBM card is a ***PNP*** DSVD
voice/fax/modem; no jumpers. When I installed the IBM card it found com3.
Since it conflicted with com1, I disabled com1 in windows95. The modem worked
fine after that but I lost my sound. I looked in the device manager and for
some reason all the sound drivers were removed (not allowed to load I
suspect). Must be some kind of software conflict. ***Question*** Is there any
work around so I can keep the sound and use my new X2 modem at the same time?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. If you can, please email me directly.
