intellimouse will NOT show up HELP!!!

Post by Taylor Sutherla » Fri, 02 Jan 1998 04:00:00

I've been trying to install the most recent version of LINUX.  Due to
space problems and other stuff, I'm using umsdos.  I have an MS
intellimouse serial mouse.  The mouse is residing on com2, ttyS1.  for
some reason, gpm will not recognize it, and thus x-windows will not
recognize it.  Any suggestions?

Oh yeah...I put all the relavent disks images on my d: drive with 850
megs left.  That was 75 mb worth.  Installation took up an extra 150
mb.  Now, that partition has 300mb left.  I can't for the life of me
figure out what happened.
Whatever it was, it wasn't my fault!
Since I hate junk mail,
replace the "booney" with "boone" to respond.
