HSG80 - point to point connection

HSG80 - point to point connection

Post by Lukasz Tylutk » Wed, 18 Jun 2003 20:58:52

Hi!

I've got the small problem. I want to connect my HSG80 to host without
any switch or hub (I've no one, it's our test installation). I can't set
the Point-to-point protocol both on the machine (wwidmgr) and HSG80
controller. The result is, I've no connection to controller (doesn't
matter loop or fabric). Version of the ACS is 8.7S.

Do you know any way to make this connection?

Best Regards:

P2P is simply not supported at all..

1. tunnel point to point vs physical point to point

If you have 2 systems on a point to point link you would address them
by a /30 block? When creating 'gre' tunnel you can use /32 for example
ip addr add 1.0.0.1 peer 1.0.0.2 dev mydev.

why can't /32 of arbitray addressing be used on a point to point
between 2 systems?

2. Applixware B&W?

3. Point-to-Point-to-Point-to-Point ad nauseum

4. Is this supported?

5. Point-to-Point-to-Point

6. Linux on IBM Power PC Computer ??

7. setting up ethernet connection as point-to-point

8. Nautilus dependency cyclic?

9. Point-2-Point Secured Connection

10. linux point-to-point mac

11. OCR and point to point

12. PPTP (POINT to POINT TUNNEL PROTOCOL)

13. sol2.4: What is the point of having a link point to the current directory?
