This message contains information about the Compaq Enterprise Technical
Symposium 2001 Pre-Conference program.  The Pre-Conference Program occurs on
September 8th and 9th before the actual Symposium.  Please note you can
still register for these even if you have already registered.  The airfare
savings from Saturday night stay over often approximately covers the
additional registration fee for most of these Seminars.

(Himalaya focused IT professionals see below)

Seminars - A one day classroom learning experience

Some subjects require more than a 75-minute treatment. This is what the
extra cost weekend seminars are about. These seminars drill down in-depth on
a very focused subject such as SANs or Wireless. They are found on the
Seminar tab during the registration process (note: if you have already
registered you can use the "Update Registration" feature on www.CETS2001.com
to add these. For more information please download:

Techworks Bootcamps - A fast track to learning

Something new is being offered at this Symposium. If you are an IT
professional experienced on one platform and now need to support another,
these Bootcamps are designed for you. They are offered the weekend before
for a nominal fee. They are found on the Seminar tab during the registration
process (note: if you have already registered you can use the "Update
Registration" feature on www.CETS2001.com to add these). We believe these
intense Bootcamps will be the fast track to learning a "new to you"
platform.

Himalaya focused IT professionals

If your primary technical focus is Compaq's Himalaya technology you of
course should be registering for the ITUG Summit.  For more details please
see http://www.itug.org/events/summit01/whichone.cfm.  But if you do
register for the ITUG Summit you can independently register for CETS
Seminars.  If you do register for a CETS seminar http://www.CETS2001.com,
and your focus is Himalaya technology, you should only register for the
Seminars and NOT also the CETS Symposium.  The CETS system will allow to do
both but your best choice for Symposium is the ITUG Summit.
