hi all:

I am using midori(embedded linux) 1.0 beta 3, and my OS is redhat 7.2,
i got all apps of midori,

i do 'make webconfig', and i used most default, but when making it
show error:

/home/ylc/midori/build/cache/scripts/mlz
/home/ylc/midori/build/apps/X-4.0.3_ML1.0.0-beta3-5.mlz upto
installconfig

...
gzip: stdin: unexpected end of file
tar: 446 garbage bytes ignored at end of archive
tar: Unexpected EOF in archive
tar: Unexpected EOF in archive
tar: Error is not recoverable: exiting now
make: *** [/home/ylc/midori/build/apps/X-4.0.3_ML1.0.0-beta3-5.config]
Error 2

i have used gzip  1.24, 1.3, 1.33 , it all error, why??

help me please!!

Did you download the packages with Windows tools?

If the download is done in text mode, it creates errors of the type seen.
Many FTP clients need to be instructed separately to go to binary mode.

I download it from "http://midori.transmeta.com/pub/midori-1.0.0-beta3/apps/",
only two packages error,and other is right.

X-4.0.3_ML1.0.0-beta3-5.mlz,
ruby-1.6.4_ML1.0.0-beta3-2.mlz.

"tar zxvf ruby-1.6.4_ML1.0.0-beta3-2.mlz" have same error.

You are missing the library headers. Probably the development packages are
missing. The headers copllained about above are for the standard C library
(libc).

1. help :: midori: start X error!!

I've built the Midori Linux beta3 without errors,
but it boot up error:

the error is:

XIO: fatal IO error 104 (connection reset by peer) on X server "0:0" after
0 request (0 known processed) with 0 events remaining.

swm: cannot open display
xmodmap: unable to open display
xset: unable to open display ":0.0"
unable to open display
Error: can't open display: 0:0

    who can help me?
