Conceptual integrity in turn dictates that the design must proceed
from one mind, or from a very small number of agreeing resonant
minds. - Frederick Brooks Jr., "The Mythical Man Month"
I am working on a communications system that needs to operate in ahostile
environment. I will not be able to use disk drives and so magnetic media cannot
be used to boot the system.
An ideal solution would be to bring up the LINUX kernel from a 1M EPROM into
my 4M of working RAM and then fire up the TCP/IP code from LINUX.
Has anyone else tried to embed the LINUX kernel?
