Post by Patrice Rem » Fri, 25 Jul 1997 04:00:00

Trying to establish a PAP connection (to my ISP), using pppd & chat.
With OpenBSD 2.1 (June97 release)...

Problem: My computer can't accept the ISP's local & remote IP's!

I would greatly appreciate any suggestions as to how to resolve this
problem ...thanks!

Here are my files..............
(note that the real IP's,names,etc... have been modified here for safety
reasons)

(assuming that......................
login-name=bbbbb, password=ppppp, telephone=ttttttt, local-IP given by
ISP=xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx,
remote-IP given by ISP=yyy.yyy.yyy.yyy, nameservers=rrr.rrr.rrr.rrr &
