1. /etc/printcap for apple laser select 310
Watch out your /etc/ttys does not define/override /etc/tty01.
In general, an apple laser needs 8 bit clean.
the select 310 is special in the sense it does not use appletalk.
I know someboduy that used this printer from a linux through the
parallel port.
