* This months presentation:  Linux As A Intra/Internet Web Server
                             by Matthew Feldt, Linux SIG Chair

* Door prizes from Caldera and the Linux Mall

PRESENTATION DESCRIPTION
========================
According to WebCrawler, 84% of HTTP servers are UNIX based and the
most popular HTTP server software is Apache.  A survey by Netcraft
indicates that Apache has been the most popular web server software
in the world for more than 12 months.

Over the past few years Linux (a free UNIX operating system protected
by the GNU public license that runs on Intel and RISC based machines)
has matured to rival commercial UNIX offerings.

Matthew Feldt, founder of the St. Louis Unix Users Group - Linux SIG,
will discuss the advantages of choosing Linux as a Intra/Internet Web
Server.  The presentation will describe the Linux operating system and
the feature set of the Apache Web Server.  A notebook computer running
Linux and Apache will be used in the presentation.
